    -01 infrared spectrometer (FTIR);
    -01 potentiostat with impedance module and rotating disk system;
    -04 UV/Vis spectrometers;
    -General laboratory equipment: pH meters, ovens, ovens with air circulation, muffles, exhaust hoods, scales, autoclaves, Kejdhal distillation systems, heating baths, centrifuges, magnetic heaters/shakers, rotaevaporators, conductivimeters, vacuum pumps, thermostatic baths, ultrasonic baths, rotaevaporators, soil mills, shaking tables, 10L cachaça production system (fermentation vat, distillation still, milling press), refrigerators, freezers, etc.

    The FURG SAP campus has 30 computers in the Computer Laboratory of the Cidade Alta Unit, with a typical Intel Core I5 3.50 GHz configuration, 8 GB of RAM, dual boot Linux (Ubuntu)/Windows. All the computers have word processing/ spreadsheet/ presentation tools, as well as software used for mathematical modeling of engineering problems. Specifically with regard to modeling tools, the machines have up-to-date versions of Python, Scilab and Octave, among others. The computers are connected to the Internet and allow immediate access to the CAPES Journal Portal. The link to the FURG SAP campus is 100 Mbps.

  • Library

    The Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG) has a total collection of approximately 210,000 copies, of which 87,000 are books. These include books (approximately 152,000), periodicals (approximately 27,000), conference proceedings, theses and dissertations, among others. The FURG-SAP Campus library is part of the Library System (SiB) of the Federal University of Rio Grande (FURG). The SiB seeks, through the access to information it provides, to serve as a source of information for teaching, research and extension projects and activities, as well as subsidizing entertainment and leisure for the academic and external community, fulfilling a technical, cultural and social character, since it aims to meet the information needs of both the internal and external university public. The system has a collection made up of various types of material: books, periodicals, CD-ROMs, DVDs, databases, maps, works in Braille, among others, covering the various areas of knowledge. The entire system's collection can be consulted via the Internet through the ARGO bibliographic database, at the following e-mail address: https://argo.furg.br/.

    The Sectorial Library of the FURG-SAP Campus was created in 2009. The library collection at the Santo Antônio da Patrulha Campus includes books on administration, economics, engineering, chemical engineering, food engineering, mathematics, statistics, physics and chemistry. As the Agroindustrial Engineering Agrochemistry and Agroindustrial Engineering Food courses were set up in 2009, the collection includes recent editions of the works. The campus library is housed in an area of 118 m2, located in the Bom Princípio Unit (UBP). To carry out its activities, it has a reference and circulation area, a technical processing area, a study space, a group study room, computers available for research and a storage room. The FURG SAP library mainly serves the Agroindustrial Engineering Agrochemistry, Agroindustrial Engineering Food Industries, Degree in Exact Sciences, Production Engineering and Administration courses, with a collection of more than four thousand copies mainly in areas related to the courses.
