The FURG SAP campus has 30 computers in the Computer Laboratory of the Cidade Alta Unit, with a typical Intel Core I5 3.50 GHz configuration, 8 GB of RAM, dual boot Linux (Ubuntu)/Windows. All the computers have word processing/ spreadsheet/ presentation tools, as well as software used for mathematical modeling of engineering problems. Specifically with regard to modeling tools, the machines have up-to-date versions of Python, Scilab and Octave, among others. The computers are connected to the Internet and allow immediate access to the CAPES Journal Portal. The link to the FURG SAP campus is 100 Mbps.
